How can photonic technologies be rapidly and successfully brought into clinical application? The LPI addressed this question in its program contributions at the W3+ Fair Jena. On September 23, two presentations provided insights into the LPI as an infrastructure and its technologies. The W3+ Fair Jena is an annual fair held at the Sparkassen-Arena in Jena that brings together regional companies and experts in photonics, optics, and electronics.

At this year's German Biotechnology Days (DBT), held in Leipzig on April 21 and 22, the LPI networked with the national biotechnology community. The DBT brings together entrepreneurs, scientists, political partners, investors, funding agencies, and government authorities every year.
The LPI participated for the first time at this year's AMR Conference in Basel on March 3rd and 4th. Joint by networks and companies from Jena and Thuringia, the LPI presented itself as translation center for clinically relevant innovations that support the fight against antimicrobial resistances.
The LPI was represented at this year's MEDICA in Dusseldorf. At the joint booth of the Free State of Thuringia organized by the LEG Thüringen, the LPI made an appearance as as translational center for photonic innovations.
